Category A

• You are a national coming from a third country.
• You are not a resident of any 27 European Union member states, Iceland, Norway or Liechtenstein.
• You have not carried out your main activity (studies, work, private visits, tourism, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the 27 European Union Member States, Iceland, Norway or Liechtenstein.
• You have not applied to more than 3 Erasmus Mundus Masters.
• There is no specific criteria for the CGPA and academic record. However, students must have good academic record to improve their chances of selection, as Erasmus is a highly competitive and the most prestigious scholarship.
• There is no age restrictions; international applications of any age can apply.
• Furthermore, there is no work experience requirement. If you are a fresh graduate with no or less professional experience, you can still apply.

Category B

• You are a European student.
• You are a non-European student, but you do not fulfill category A requirements.

The selection process typically involves academic evaluation, assessment of motivation and fit for the program, and, in some cases, interviews. Successful candidates will be notified of their acceptance and offered Erasmus Mundus scholarships.

Admission typically opens in November, providing ample time to prepare your application. Begin gathering necessary documents, such as diplomas and translations, as well as administrative items like ID cards and proof of residence. Administrative tasks may seem minor but require time, so it’s essential to start early.

Dedicate the period from May to November to prepare your application thoroughly. Use the six-month window to ensure all required documents are in order and meet the program’s criteria. Pay attention to detail and avoid overlooking administrative requirements

The application process usually runs from December to February, with programs closing during this time frame. Submit your application within the specified deadline to maximize your chances of consideration.

After submitting your application, await approval from the European Commission in Brussels. This stage typically occurs from April to May. Decisions are made by a consortium of individuals before being forwarded to the European Commission for final approval.

 The announcement of successful applicants usually takes place in May, with occasional announcements in April as well. Stay updated on announcements to know the status of your application.

Offers programs like European Master in Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling (TCCM) and European Master in Environmental Sciences (MESPOM).
